INTRO SESSION
The intro session is for new participants and is offered on a rolling basis every three months. It also serves as a Sabbath month for those already enrolled in the program.
Goals
The goals of the introductory session are to:
Understand God’s Vision for the World
Have a basic understanding of the Gospel
Have a basic understanding of Missio Dei and our part in it
Grasp the basics of grace, grace-based motivation, and accountability in grace
Why we are doing SWW
Begin to grasp the depth and importance of the scriptures
Be oriented to the foundations of hermeneutics + basic exegetical principles
Be able to understand and interpret a biblical text
Prep Work
Read: Gen 1-3; Eph 2.1-10; Luke 18; Luke 22-24; 1 Cor 15.1-6; Rev 21-22
Read: "The Storyline of the Bible" - Craig, Bartholomew
Watch: “Messiah” - The Bible Project
